Some of Philippines most famous dive sites is found around the laidback town of Moalboal on Cebu Island. At Tuble Marine Sanctuary, not far from the main town in Moalboal, you can get up close and personal with the many sea turtles who call this place home.

Dive site: Tuble Marine Sanctuary
Location: Moalboal, Cebu Island, Philippines
Dive type: Boat dive, about 30mins from Moalboal
Certification: Open Water at minimum
Depth: up to 20m, turtles usually don’t rest too deep
Wetsuit: yes
Cost: around 1,600 php for two dives inclusive of all gear hire, with 1 dive at Pescador Island and another at dive sites around Moalboal shoreline
Recommended dive shops:
Lion Dive Centre – owned by a friendly Korean diver with local divemasters, equipment in good shape and they even throw in free underwater photos with a DSLR camera!
Savedra Dive Centre – great facilities with a long history operating in Moalboal, prices are a bit higher but they do single dive trips to Pescador Island
