Police escort nuclear power station abnormal loads to Sizewell C

Описание: Various convoys of construction vehicles, equipment, and materials are escorted by police as abnormal loads to, and from, the Sizewell C Nuclear Power Station construction site in Suffolk, UK.

With the construction of the new Sizewell C Nuclear Power Station underway and in it's early stages; police, hauliers and abnormal load escort teams have been busy delivering to the construction site. These deliveries have included cranes, piling rigs, dump trucks, excavators, construction cabins and much more. All of these oversize loads of over a certain weight, width, height or length, have been escorted by Norfolk and Suffolk Police's Roads and Armed Policing Team.

Police vehicles featured include the BMW R1200 motorcycle used by outriders to escort all of the featured abnormal loads. Additionally, Land Rover Discovery and Volvo XC90s have been used.
