The Peripass visited the Refresco site in Calvörde, Germany, with a group of curious visitors to see how Peripass works.
Thanks to the automation of the process and the use of auto-dispatch, Refresco Calvörde improved truck turnaround from 2 hours to an impressive 35-40 minutes from arriving to leaving the site.
Diederik and Michiel talked to Christian Engel, Director of Warehouse Operations Europe, about his personal experiences with Peripass. “Autodispatching happens so fast, in just a couple of seconds. Our people don’t have to do anything manual anymore.”
And that is not the only thing he likes! “What’s so nice about Peripass is that everything is timestamped. Since Peripass, there is no discussion anymore on waiting costs & demurrage fees.”
