I recently purchased a pre-owned a JDM Daiwa Alphas 103 Type-F baitcasting reel and needed a tool to remove the spool bearing pin so that one day I can upgrade them or replace them if they were shot. So I used the BASSZONE Baitcasting Reel Spool Bearing Pin Puller Remover Tool I found on eBay.
Several weeks later it arrived and I am finally able to put together this how-to video on how to upgrade/remove the spool bearing pin on this Daiwa Alphas 103 reel.
To my surprise, this pre-owned reel already comes with upgraded bearings! So this video is more of a demo for those that wants to learn how to remove the pin and bearing on the spool.
