After the success of Spider-Man (2002), Spider-Man 2 was made and it is, even to this day, considered as one of the best superhero films of all. It is also the only live action Spider-Man film to win an Oscar. Most fans call this the best in the trilogy as well.
The score for the film however, despite being heavily praised, had some issues behind the scene. Danny Elfman and Sam Raimi were butting heads and Danny actually refused to return for Spider-Man 3. This film has additional music composed by Christopher Young and John Debney, who would then return for Spider-Man 3, with Christopher Young handling most of the score. There are a lot of reused tracks from Spider-Man 1 in this film too. But despite all that, the score was also incredible like the first one's score.
