The Delhi government has launched the Saheli Pink Card, a revolutionary step toward women’s empowerment and inclusive mobility. This new smart travel card allows free rides on DTC and cluster buses for women and transgender residents of Delhi aged 12 and above.

Based on the National Common Mobility Card (NCMC) platform, the Saheli Pink Card also works as a multi-purpose travel card, enabling users to recharge and pay for Delhi Metro rides and other public transport. It comes personalized with the user’s name and photo, ensuring safety and preventing misuse.

Replacing old pink paper tickets, this card offers digital convenience and accessibility through an online registration portal and designated centers, with the official launch expected around Bhai Dooj.
