Hector is a great spot to freedom camp, as long as the Ocean doesn't take it away... We've noticed how drastically this area is changing from coastal erosion, it's kind of scary to see how much land the sea has taken? when and where does it stop.
We also wonder into the charming creek area which was a long walk for everyone, some stunning waterfalls, likely easier and just as beautiful places to visit with out the 3 hours return hike, but hey we did it and no regrets.
