The ex-con, who shot to fame when his mugshot went viral in 2014 and is rumoured to be expecting a child with 27-year-old Green, also shared his views on the importance of father figures, gun violence, education and religion.When asked how he felt about his overnight success in the fashion industry, Meeks replied: 'I heard it a couple of times growing up that I should be a model, but it went in one ear and out the other.I never thought it was possible.' In the accompanying images shared exclusively with MailOnline, he is seen smoking as he poses topless in a series of smouldering shots.The father-of-two was also asked what he thought could be done to prevent children getting into gang violence.He told FV's editor-in-chief Sandra Benbaruk: 'I mean they definitely need education and proper father figures, and people to look up to.'It’s a serious issue, especially in my neighborhood with gun violence at a young age, and so that’s the situation.Someone I know has been killed and shot.it’s really rapid.' The model revealed he has been getting involved in youth work and working alongside a charity called WOSMOH (Women of Substance Men of Honor).And speaking about what he has learned from 'life on the street', he added: 'Your word is your bond.to always stay loyal, solid and grounded, and you know, you do good, you get good back, and you do dirty, you get mud back.It’s just very simple.' Adding his final thoughts on what love means to him, Meeks added: 'Love means everything, everything to me.It’s what keeps people alive, it’s what keeps people going, to love and to be loved.'
