A calm winter walk through Munich’s Neuhausen district while light snow is falling. We start at the Forum am Hirschgarten, pass under the Friedenheimer Brücke and walk past the Backstage area towards the Donnersbergerbrücke.
The path leads along bushes, trees and small green strips, with fresh snow on the ground and the quiet hum of city traffic in the distance. Step by step we get closer to the headquarters of Deutsche Bahn for the Bavaria region, where office buildings, rail tracks and winter atmosphere come together.
After passing the DB building, the walk continues straight ahead until we reach the Donnersbergerbrücke. Under the bridge the sound changes again, with trains above, cars nearby and the echo of footsteps on wet pavement, before the walk ends at the S-Bahn exit. At the very end, a short quote by Fred Ammon appears as a quiet thought to close this winter walk.
