Have you seen how much the price of air beds have blown up this year? Talk about inflation.
Don’t sleep on this week’s product though – it won’t break the bank.
Want to see what we got out of bed for this week?
Hi, my name is Gary, and this is my buddy Matt.
We’re just a bunch of gadget nerds who were lucky enough to be invited by Amazon to participate in the very exclusive Vine Voices Program.
We review all the latest and greatest Amazon products before they go on sale, and then when we’re done, we give them away, FREE, to a random viewer!
Make sure you watch to the end to find out how to get in the running for today’s mystery Vine Voices product!
It’s a Truck Bed Inflatable Air Mattress!
We’ve all been there – had one too many drinks at the bar and decided to sleep it off in the carpark. The only problem is, there is no way to sleep in the seat of your car that won’t lead to a stiff neck, a sore back, and a restless and thoroughly unenjoyable night’s sleep.
Got a pick-up truck? Then why not keep a Truck Bed Inflatable Air Mattress under the seat for those times your comfy bed at home isn’t an option and you just have to make do.
This one fits most pick-up trucks with a truck bed length of between 6 and 6 and a half feet – think Ford F150s, Dodge Rams, GMC Sierras, Chevrolet Silverado’s and Toyota Tundras.
It’s designed to take up the entire floorspace of the truck bed – with small deflatable side pockets to allow the Truck Bed Inflatable Air Mattress to sit flush against the raised wheel arches.
Inside the Truck Bed Inflatable Air Mattress itself are a series of 3 air chambers instead of one big one. This prevents the sleepy user from slumping down into the middle, or rolling off the sides, by keeping a constant air pressure up across the entire surface area.
The upper surface is made from soft polyester so it’s not hard on your keister, with the bottom and sides durable polyvinyl that is long-lasting and won’t wear through easily.
Better yet, it’s not restricted for use in just truck beds. Those same side pocket inserts can be blown up to make a full-sized rectangular mattress that can be used in your home with you have a few too many guests, or in the tent when you’re out camping.
Inflation is quick and easy thanks to the included 12v air compressor pump that slots into the cigarette lighter of the car.
Sometimes it’s hard to get an air mattress back into the box it came in – you can never get all of the air out. Thankfully, that same 12v compressor can have the flow reversed so it can suck all the air out of the mattress – enabling it to be folded up nice and neatly, and back in the box for easy storage.
So what do we like about the Truck Bed Inflatable Air Mattress?
We’d describe the mattress as being medium firm, and found it was relatively supportive despite the low price.
The big plus was that the Truck Bed Inflatable Air Mattress didn’t go down overnight during testing, which was fantastic for obvious reasons.
The set up was super easy, and it only took a couple minutes to inflate.
The fact that it has the little pockets notched out of the side to make the most use of the truck bed was a huge plus for people like us who love to stretch out while they sleep.
What’s the downside?
Even though the Truck Bed Inflatable Air Mattress is made from durable materials, we would still advise putting down a tarp or rubber matting underneath just in case.
Likewise, a sheet over the top will avoid the upper polyester layer from causing you to sweat during the night.
So, what’s the verdict? You're going to have to watch to find out!
Thanks,
Matt & Gary
