Information session on the IUCN ESMS, delivered as part of the 2022 BIOPAMA Calls for Proposals in March 2022:
This webinar provides information and guidance on how to identify and deal with environmental and social risks in area-based conservation projects.
Participants can learn about the safeguard system of IUCN, understand how to spot risks that are typical to conservation work, and learn how to design activities to minimise, monitor, and report on those risks.
Speakers in this webinar provide a number of examples of best practices and take questions as they arise.
