(21 Jun 2018) The US Indo-Pacific military commander on Thursday hailed military relations between Japan and the United States.
Speaking at a meeting with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe in Tokyo, Admiral Philip S. Davidson said the alliance "is an enduring force for peace and stability in the Pacific region and indeed across the world".
It was the pair's first meeting since Davidson's appointment as commander.
