Hold like stones that mark the site of an ancient rite

There’s a blood moon like an eye in the sky
A scar of heaven where longing goes to love
There is no shelter here for Love has no paradise
And there will be no flowers for acres of your eyes

This track is the album’s most raw and visceral. I conceived it as a vision of a primal nightscape, wilderness beneath a blood-red moon, a ritual bonfire, and a restless spirit straining against its confines to break free. At its heart, the song is a meditation on betrayal: the wounds we inflict upon one another as human beings, and nature’s own merciless betrayal, which like wildfire spares nothing in its path of indiscriminate fury. Yet within that devastation lies a threshold where annihilation yields to renewal, and from its ruin emerges the promise of something new.
TO PIECES is, in essence, is not a song of fragmentation but of wholeness, an invocation of what it truly means to be broken open and to discover that within the very design of unraveling lies the pattern through which we can become whole
