সতীনাথ ভাদুড়ী বাংলা সাহিত্যের এক অনন্য লেখক। ওনার লেখা গল্পগুলি একটা বিশেষ সময়ের দলিল। যা শুধু বাংলার মানুষ নয় বরং বিহারের প্রান্তিক মানুষ তাঁদের জীবনযাপন, বর্ণাশ্রম প্রথার অদ্ভুত ব্যাবহার,অন্তঃপুরের মেয়েদের অবস্থা ইত্যাদি এক অপরূপ ছবি এঁকে গেছেন।

ষড়যন্ত্র মামলার রায় গল্পটি সতীনাথ ভাদুড়ীর একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ গল্প। আপাত দৃষ্টিতে একটি ষড়যন্ত্র আসলে কয়েকটি বিক্ষিপ্ত ঘটনার একটা সামগ্রিক রূপ হতে পারে কিন্তু সেগুলি যদি নিরপেক্ষ বিশ্লেষণ করা যায় হতেই পারে তা সম্পূর্ণ কয়েকটা ভ্রান্ত ঘটনা্র অতিরঞ্জিত রূপ হতে পারে। সেগুলি যদি ঠিক বিশ্লেষণ হয় তাহলে অনেক নিরীহ মানুষের ভোগান্তি নাও হতে পারে।

Satinath Bhaduri is one of the most poignant writers in Bengali literature. His written stories are the documents of a specific time. This not only reveals the people of Bengal but also the oppressed people of Bihar, their lifestyle, the impact of religious disparity, the conditions of women who lived within, and so on, sketching a vivid picture of it.

Shorojontro Mamlar Ray is a very important story written by Satinath Bhaduri. Apparently, a conspiracy could involve multiple cases if the whole thing were properly examined, unbiased, and might reveal a completely different story altogether and rather exaggerated. These cases should be examined unbiased, and could have saved so many people from crime that they actually were not committed.
