Heute starten die Wandersocken vom Bahnhof in Ründeroth, auch Perle des Aggertals genannt, und erleben bei schönstem Spätsommerwetter u.a. viele steile Pfade und Wege, die Hohe Warte (357 m) mit einem aktuell leider nicht begehbaren Aussichtsturm von 1867, eine doppelte A4 (sowohl als Autobahn wie auch als lokaler Wanderweg), Spuren der mittelalterlichen Handelsroute "Alte Zeith-Straße", Ameisen und Schmetterlinge, rätselhafte Bergische Holzpyramiden, aus verschiedenen Gründen notwendige Umleitungen, das beschauliche Dorf Kaltenbach, ein überwachsenes Motorrad, alte Angelweiher, das ehemalige Munitionsdepot Brächen, das malerische Dorf Bellingroth, idyllische Passagen an der #Agger (ein ca. 70 km langer Nebenfluss der Sieg) und hübsche historische Gebäude in Ründeroth (sehr empfehlenswert ist dort übrigens das Eiscafé Dolomiti mit tollem Eis und originellen Kindermalereien)

Today, the Wandersocken start from the train station in Ründeroth and experience e.g. beautiful late summer weather, many steep paths and trails, the Hohe Warte (357 m) with a viewing tower from 1867 that is unfortunately not currently accessible, an A4 called motorway and local hiking trail, traces of the medieval trade route “Alte Zeith-Straße,” ants and butterflies, mysterious Bergisch wooden pyramids, detours necessary for various reasons, the tranquil village of Kaltenbach, an overgrown motorcycle, old fishing ponds, the former Brächen ammunition depot, the picturesque village of Bellingroth, idyllic passages along the river Agger (an approx. 70 km long tributary of the Sieg) and pretty historic buildings in Ründeroth (by the way, the Eiscafé Dolomiti is highly recommended there, with great ice cream and original children's paintings)
