The 2025 breeding season marked our second consecutive record-breaking year with 19 Blue-
throated Macaw chicks successfully fledged from 12 breeding attempts and 32 eggs across the
128 nest boxes we have installed. This brings the total number of fledglings since the program
began in 2005 to an extraordinary 164. A true conservation milestone: nearly one in four wild
Blue-throated Macaws today hatched in an Armonía nestbox.
