Описание: 🎬 "OUTDATED COURSES" – KERALA CM V.D. SATHEESAN ANNOUNCES REVOLUTIONARY CHANGES TO HIGHER EDUCATION! 😱📚🔥

In a major policy announcement, Kerala's new Chief Minister has declared that the state's higher education system urgently needs a complete overhaul. From outdated syllabi to global standards, here is everything CM Satheesan said about the future of education in Kerala! 👇🧵

THE BOLD STATEMENT – "KERALA IS OUTDATED" 🗣️

Speaking at a reception organised by the Pauravali (Citizens' Forum) in Kozhikode, Chief Minister V.D. Satheesan made a candid and powerful assessment of Kerala's higher education system.

🗣️ "I believe that though the Kerala model is a proud one, the State is in a state of outdatedness as no changes have been made in the last 20 years" .

He pointed out that while the state has excellent institutions, the courses offered are not in alignment with global and national standards or the demands of the modern job market.

"NEW NATIONS ARE LEARNING OUR STYLE" – THE VISION FOR KERALA 💡

In a visionary statement, Satheesan said that the transformation of Kerala's higher education would serve as a model for the world.

🗣️ "New nations are learning our style and Kerala's style. So we have to give a lot of importance to making the world understand Kerala's style" .

He argued that by modernizing the curriculum and making it more relevant, Kerala could once again lead the way in educational innovation.

---

THE HALLMARK OF HIS GOVERNMENT – A MEGA MULTI-DISCIPLINARY CAMPUS 🏫

The Chief Minister announced that the hallmark of his government would be the establishment of a mega multi‑disciplinary campus in Kozhikode. He emphasized that this would be a key project to reposition Kerala as an educational leader.

EAMCET AND THE NATIONAL TESTING AGENCY – A CALL FOR REFORM 📝

Addressing the complex admissions process in medical and engineering colleges, Satheesan argued for a single, streamlined entrance exam.

🗣️ "One of the reasons for the backwardness of the state is that EAMCET is conducted jointly by several state governments and NTA is a Central agency. It should be a single agency and it should be an all-India test. It will be beneficial for our students" .

He also affirmed his government's support for the National Education Policy (NEP) and its goal to create a single portal for all educational matters.

---

MOOC AND DIGITAL EDUCATION – THE FUTURE IS HERE 🌐

Satheesan unveiled several key initiatives aimed at modernizing Kerala's higher education system:

1. Centralized Online Course Platform: A comprehensive online portal will allow students to access courses from around the world and earn international credits .
2. Regulatory Body for Online Courses: A dedicated body will be set up to regulate the quality and standard of Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) .
3. Global Educational Alliances: The government will support universities in forming partnerships with leading international institutions to offer twinning and semester‑abroad programs .

---

SKILL DEVELOPMENT AND INDUSTRY PARTNERSHIPS 🔧

To bridge the gap between education and employment, the CM announced:

1. New Educational Cities: A pharmacy city and a fintech city will be established in Thiruvananthapuram .
2. Industry Collaborations: Government universities and colleges will be encouraged to forge partnerships with industries and research labs to promote innovation and entrepreneurship .

---

THE VISION FOR THE FUTURE 🔮

Satheesan's vision is to transform Kerala into a global educational hub. His key priorities are:

· International Accreditation: Ensuring that the new courses and programs are certified to international standards .
· Research and Development: Increasing funding and support for R&D initiatives .
· Skill-Based Learning: Moving away from rote learning towards practical, skill-based education .

The Chief Minister said the goal is to ensure that students who leave Kerala's colleges are not just degree holders, but are well-equipped professionals ready to compete in the global market. 🔥
