Описание: Sometimes the most powerful innovation is simply helping young people see what is possible.

In this clip from Episode 34 of the iNNOVATION Insights Podcast, De'Edra Dangerfield, MBA, HRM, shares the story behind a program she started with her sisters called Course to College. The initiative grew out of a simple realization: many of the young athletes they coached had never left their state, flown on a plane, or stepped onto a college campus.

To expand their horizons, the program began traveling to tournaments a day early so students could visit nearby universities. During these visits, they toured campuses, spoke with coaches and players, practiced in collegiate facilities, and sometimes even stayed in dormitories. These experiences allowed students to imagine themselves as future college athletes and college graduates.

What began as a small effort eventually impacted thousands of students over several decades. Many of the young people who participated went on to graduate from high school and college, and De'Edra has attended countless celebrations—graduations, weddings, and milestones—along the way.

Her story is a powerful reminder that exposure, mentorship, and belief can transform how young people see their futures.
