This recipe is an easy side dish. It goes well with rasam, parupu, sambar as side dish. You can eat it for breakfast for Dosa and Chapathi too.
This high pectin dish is very useful to control blood sugar. It is one dish diabetic people can reach for.
Raw banana - 1
Red chilli powder 1,1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder 1/2tsp
coriander powder- 1tsp
Jeera powder - 1tsp
Mustard seed - 1/2 tsp
Pepper powder- 1/2tsp
Curry leaves - 10
Oil- 2tsp
water - 1/4 cups
Salt to taste
Preparation
1. Add Oil let the Mustard splutter. Once it splutters add the curry leaves and banana pieces. Mix them well.
2. Add turmeric and chilli powder, mix it well for a minute.
3. Then add jeera powder and coriander powder stir with 2-3 spoons of water to prevent burning
4. Season it with Salt and pepper. Add 1/4 water and close them for 5 to 8min till it's cooked.
You can serve them with some rasam and rice steaming hot..
