Описание: India is set to strengthen its nuclear deterrent with the commissioning of its third nuclear-powered ballistic missile submarine, INS Aridhaman, expected in April-May 2026.

Built stealthily at the Ship Building Centre in Visakhapatnam by L&T, the submarine carries the 750-km range K-15 missiles and multiple long-range K-4 submarine-launched ballistic missiles with a range exceeding 3,500 km. Designed for secrecy and endurance, INS Aridhaman joins its sister submarines INS Arihant and INS Arighaat under the Strategic Forces Command, forming a crucial part of India’s tri-services nuclear deterrent.
