Globally, the cost of food and fuel have gone up significantly in recent months, prompting supermarket prices to soar.
On the rock, these rising prices have been compounded by logistical issues brought about by Brexit and also the fluctuating value of the pound against the Euro.
These changes have pushed consumers to think more about what they purchase, and where.
