Good morning and welcome back to Englewood Cycling.
Today, Let's Ride the newest bridge....as of June 22....on Legacy Trail, which runs North & South from Venice to Sarasota. In this video, I ride over the bridge at Bee Ridge Road, which opened a couple days before I recorded this. The bridge over Clark Road was scheduled to open today, so hopefully that wasn't delayed.
This was a late-start ride because I met up for breakfast with a buddy who popped into town before starting my ride. Then, I decided to ride all the way out to St. Armands Circle at Sarasota, which made for an impromptu 77-mile ride. And, late in the morning in Florida in June meant it was hot and humid.
