Revised and updated instructions on how to calculate your new bracket's mounting height to aid you on measuring your new bracket's maximum swim platform width, and to ensure that your will have enough keel to bottom of the bracket's airbox clearance in the form of a 'vertical drop' that should never be less than 3" or ideally more.
On measuring the transom max width at the mounting height line keep in mind our brackets have a 3.5" drop down in the form of the swim platform skirt so you should always order your bracket with at least 2" or 3" inches less overall width to ensure it will fit within the transom's area.
