In Lucknow's Itaunja on Mahona Road, a raid was conducted late Monday night on four illegal warehouses, where more than six tons of explosives were recovered. The four warehouses, operated under the name Zubair Traders, contained a large illegal stock of firecrackers, bombs, and gunpowder. For 24 hours, the police, bomb disposal squad, forensic team, and fire department conducted an investigation. After this, the process of destroying the recovered explosives began by taking them 500 meters away from the populated area to Kari and digging a 30-foot deep pit for safe disposal.
