In this video I plan the future project with my 1997 Fiat Cinquecento Sporting (abarth)
I joked about finding a Novitec Turbo kit for this car awhile back, and then out of the blue I actually got the chance to buy a almost complete kit!
So now I am planning to upgrade this little nugget of a car with a Turbo.
This performance upgrade will take the car from 54hp to 101. This is on a car with a curb weight of about 730kg which will take this car up to the the fast segment of the hot hatches from the 80-90s
But fitting this kit will be a challenge, one thing is space, another thing is making sure that the engine does not ping or pre detonate and blow up.
In this video I only introduce the project but I do not fit anything yet...
I got the get the Skoda on the road first or maybe get the Renault 5 GT turbo out of winter storage first...
