This right here was the best deal at the end of last year around Black Friday and Christmas, this particular SKU was only sold at Walmart at this absolute killer price and it was featuring Intel Core i5 9400F (6 core CPU that boosts up to 4.1ghz) 8GB Ram 2666mhz (single stick) 256GB nVMe SSD drive, 400W 80 plus Platinum PSU, and of course the star of the show the GTX 1660TI.
If you go and try to build a gaming computer with a similar specs, you will have a very hard time fitting in this $499 budget, just the GtX 1660TI will run you at least $270 for a new one and the CPU is another $160, so yeah this package was something that was highly desirable.
Unfortunately a lot of those ended up on eBay with re-sellers trying to make a buck on that deal, but if you were lucky enough to buy one, you will not be disappointing. I ordered one almost at the moment the deal popped up on line, on the next day Walmart sent me an email saying that due to the high demand the order is delayed and I might not even get it and will cancel and refund me...Not cool.
I went over to one of my local stores and was able to buy one on the spot, then a few days later they emailed me back saying that it was shipped, so I ended up returning one of them to the store so someone else can benefit from the deal and kept the one that was shipped and delivered to me.
Anyway, stay tuned for all the game testing and comparison with the GTX 1650 that was in the other HP Envy Gaming Desktop that I just showed you recently.
