Episode 50 - More uses of capability maps
The capability-map outlined in Episode 49 is a powerful tool for enterprise-architecture - both to guide architectural change, and to help build engagement in architecture across the entire organisation. Yet it can also act as a foundation for a wide variety of other uses, delivering huge value to the enterprise. In this episode we explore some of these other uses, including
-- orientation for onboarding of new staff
-- visual-directory
-- project-mapping to identify clashes, overlaps and gaps
-- guidance for spend-control for change-projects
-- support for activity-based costing
The topic for this episode was suggested by Bruce Kay.
