Please note I was affected by the Australia fires in mid December meaning we evacuated mid to late December because the largest fire in Australia's history, Gospers, got within 2km of our house after two months of smoke and alerts.

So far in Australia up to the end of the first month of the official 3 month fire season:
11.3 million acres destroyed
2500 buildings burnt
At least 13 people killed
480 million animals dead
30% of koalas dead
Air pollution in many cities 20 times higher than hazardous
Thousands of people displaced
and so it goes ...

Filmed in a safe 'finished' fire ground which was part of the 500 000 hectare northern Blue Mtns fires in mid Dec 2019. The fire to the south is still threatening as this recording was made.
