After weeks among glaciers, polar bears, and drifting icebergs, we turn south and sail back to Longyearbyen, the northernmost town on Earth. As we approach civilization again, we spot someone wakeboarding in the icy waters of Isfjorden—Arctic madness or pure fun?
Once in port, we fuel up and get Bushpoint ready for the next big challenge: a four-day offshore crossing back to mainland Norway. The contrast between wild nature and human life in Svalbard never stops surprising us.
