Unusual protest criticizes ICE tactics, urges full Epstein file release

The 50501 SATX Visibility Brigade unveiled a new banner on the bridge that read “Joy is Resistance.”

The group 5051 is protesting against ICE’S immigration enforcement tactics by throwing and party on the bridge to draw attention to their cause.

They’re also protesting the Ice detention facility that is expected to open in San Antonio. Roland Castillo of 5051 called the facility a direct attack on the community.

“It’s infuriating,” Castillo said. “If you look at it, this is a town of a lot of Hispanics. We are diverse and you want to bring in a facility that screams nothing but hatred. We know what that facility stands for. It stands for I’m going to catch you. I’m going to get you. I’m going to probably beat you up, whether you’re a woman, whether you’re a child, old or young.”

The visibility brigade is also protesting how the Epstein files are being handled, calling for the release of all concealed names with the exception of the victims.
