On Sept. 21st I surprised my girlfriend of 6 years by proposing at my monthly improv show with Music City Improv. She said yes and made me the happiest guy alive.
I had to set it up as if I was quitting the troupe to throw her off the scent. I felt bad for putting my fellow troupe members through the agony since none of them knew what I was doing. but it was kinda sweet to be able to pull a prank while also changing my life forever.
Thanks to Darin Lake for filming this and helping me remember this event forever.
I also love watching Stu's face change three times throughout the video as he thinks I'm proposing, then quitting, then proposing again. And of course my mom jumping up and celebrating was pretty funny.
