GM 14bolt full floating axle seal replacement -sub

Описание: Mongo build this truck bed trailer a few years ago from 1981 Chevy Silverado C20 this trailer have leaking axle seal on drivers side, show how to get drum and hub off and fix bad seal.

Mongo apologies somewhere between editing and compressing, Mongo loose audio, bad news is original clips were already deleted. no problem Mongo fix with subtitles and Mongo music in background.
Still new to this and haven't figured out a good process for this yet. but will get there. maybe you like better when MONGO keep mouth shut.

Need get axle shaft out, couple different style hub retainers but this style have big nut, key and clip. Hub and drum come off as one assembly, this heavy. Mongo take out brakes from under drum, since it trailer no need for brakes
03:17 Seal remove and install
Old seals usually very stubborn to get out, keep working around with pulled and it will come. New seal only go in 1 way, be sure to install correctly and press in evenly. Otherwise seal will leak again.
05:02 Install hub
Need to set bearing preload as shown, lots of people miss this part. If not can cause early bearing failure.
07:24 Check diff oil level
