Created with 3ds Max, After Effects & Photoshop.
This started off as an exercise to create animated nebulas until I searched for music to go with it. The theme to The Hitchhickers Guide to the Galaxy fit nicely.
I then decided to add the titles & the dolphins & The Heart of Gold ship. I based the design on the description "shaped like a sleek running shoe," with a few touches from the TV series & the movie.
The Sundiver was a last minute addition after I struggled to design a suitable Vogon ship.
I modified the Sundiver model by Binkley-Spacetrucker to make it look bulkier.
