We Bought A NEW FAMILY CAR!

Описание: I love being a foster dad! It’s rewarding, brings me so much JOY, and gives me opportunities to help the world's most vulnerable children. Foster care is the hardest "job" I've ever worked, because these precious children have often endured unspeakable trauma. But even if it's the hardest job I've ever done, saying "no" to a child who needs a home will always be harder! Right now, friends—I am in that difficult place. I don't have the basic resources to help, when I know I can! Two children in my area need a new home as soon as possible, and my home and heart are OPEN—but I don’t have a vehicle large enough to hold eight bodies... So I am forced to say "no." It's important that sibling groups like this one are not separated from one another, because that can cause even more trauma—but the only other families available to take these kids can only house one child. I want these two kids to experience all the things kids love—trips to the park, swimming lessons, quick ice cream runs, church services—together, as siblings should. The only thing holding back my "Yes!" is that my vehicle is too small to carry these two and the other children already in my care. I need your help! I’m looking to purchase a new or used Ford Expedition, Chevy Suburban, or similar-sized vehicle that seats eight. As you may know, these large vehicles are very expensive—so any help you can offer my family will be most appreciated. Did you know there are more than 400,000 children in the foster care system, who all need safe and loving environments to call home? I want to lower that number by two more! A larger vehicle will allow me to say "Yes!" to this sibling group AND foster additional children in the future, as God leads them to my home. I pray each day that God will bring people alongside me in very tangible ways in the mission of caring for the most vulnerable children.
