Austenite-Martensite Transformation in Polycrystalline Low Carbon Steel (near the weld)

Описание: A phase field simulation of martensite in a nanocrystalline structure (Fe-0.3%C). Solved using the Finite Element Method (FEM) with 852x852 nodes. The developed martensite microstructure consists of lenticulary shaped plates with regions of austenite (blue) mostly localized near the grain boundaries.
