14 YEARS WAIT 😇 | Dream Come True at Batu Caves Murugan Temple 🇲🇾 | Malaysia Vlog EP 3

In this emotional 3rd episode of the Malaysia series, I finally visit the Batu Caves Murugan Temple — one of the most iconic Hindu temples in the world, located just outside Kuala Lumpur. 🇲🇾

🛕 Batu Caves is a sacred Hindu site dedicated to Lord Murugan, and it houses the tallest Murugan statue in the world, standing at a majestic 42.7 meters (140 feet) tall. This golden statue at the entrance is a spiritual beacon for Tamil Hindus across the globe.

🚆 I took the KTM Komuter train from Kuala Lumpur Sentral to reach Batu Caves and was joined by a fellow Tamil traveler I met from Tamil Nadu. Together, we climbed the 272 vibrant rainbow-colored steps leading to the main cave temple. The journey up is both physically demanding and spiritually uplifting.

🕉️ Inside the limestone hill, the temple cave is naturally formed and filled with shrines, carvings, and a divine atmosphere. The location is estimated to be 400 million years old, while the temple has been a center of Tamil Hindu worship since the late 1800s.

🎉 Batu Caves is also the center of the Thaipusam festival, where thousands of devotees gather annually, often walking barefoot from Kuala Lumpur as a form of penance.
