This clip captures a key moment during the TMR 2025 where the autonomous vehicle executes a dynamic overtaking maneuver in real time. Using a vision-based system with dynamic PD control, the vehicle detects a slower object, switches lanes, overtakes, and returns to the right lane—entirely without remote commands.
This test run highlights the robustness of the hybrid architecture under development, integrating adaptive control strategies with reactive perception modules. The solution was implemented by the CIIAM-UAZ AutoModelCar Team with the support of UPIIZ-IPN, and demonstrates real-world application of control and decision-making for autonomous driving.
