At the Public Audit Committee today Richard Leonard asked CMAL executives if their advice was being over-ridden regarding the Ferguson Marine contract.
Erik Østergaard, Former Chair of CMAL said: 'Stating that we were content with the contract is not correct. We were not.'.
The Public Audit Committee has been gathering evidence over the previous few weeks about the ferries fiasco.
The committee of various MSPs, led by Richard Leonard, asked questions about the process of awarding the contract to Ferguson Marine for ferries 801 and 802.
