The concept of VARIGNON'S THEOREM is applied when the difficulties we faced during moment calculation.
It says that "Moment of a force about a point is equal to the sum of the moment of the components of that force about the same point".
By using this method, an inclined force that is act on a rigid body is to be divided into two components one is horizontal component and another one is vertical component, therefore we calculate moment easily by using the components of the applied force with their respective distance from a particular point. Finally calculate the moment which is applied on the body with respect to the point.
