Here is a neat PMI PG paintball marker that was converted into a PGP, possibly by Steve Gunner Tetz of SC Village.
PG stands for Paint gun and PGP stands for Paint Gun Pump. This conversion likely predates direct feed and Sheridan offering a pump kit so I would estimate it was done from 1984-1986.
Devin Riker purchase this from a seller in Norco and showed it to me a couple years back. Base on the construction of the pump assembly, bolt modification and proximity to SC Village (Norco is about 5 mins east of SC Village) my guess is that it was modified by Steve Gunner Tetz.
Tetz ran a booth at Sat Cong Village in the mid to late 1989s named "Gunner's Place." He offered modifications on early paintguns and I've seen a few examples of his early PG to PGP conversions using aluminum and polymers that are fairly close to this design.
Tetz worked as an Aircraft Engineer and worked his booth on the weekends and played with the early SC Village based team, the Headhunters.
Thanks showing me this neat piece of history Devin!
