How To Replace PCV Valve Hose 2001-2007 Ford Escape

This video shows you how to install a new PCV valve hose on your 2001-2007 Ford Escape. The positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) valve is responsible for managing the pressure within the crankcase of the engine. Excessive pressure can interfere with efficient operation. If the valve is clogged or otherwise damaged, you may experience poor running conditions in your vehicle.

This repair was done on a 2006 Ford Escape XLS 2.3L Sport Utility 4-Door FWD and the process should be similar on the following vehicles:
