8 IT firms suspended from US green card programme

Описание: Eight IT companies, including Indian giants TCS and Infosys, have been suspended from the US green card programme. The suspension could affect the sponsorship of employment-based permanent residency for employees at these firms. Industry observers say the move adds to growing uncertainty around US immigration policy for the technology sector. The companies are expected to engage with authorities to address the concerns raised. Affected employees and Indian IT stakeholders are closely watching for clarity on the scope and duration of the suspension.
