Описание: 2009 Volkswagen Jetta Sportwagen TDI with 6-speed automated manual DSG transmission. Knocking sound when in park. CONFIRMED at VW dealership that it is indeed a failed DMF (Dual Mass Flywheel). $2083 + tax & shop fee's is the estimate to replace. Car has high mileage (125k) and apparently the DMF wears out with mileage & use, something VW doesn't tell you when you buy these cars. Not changing your DSG fluid at regular 40k intervals speeds up the process of the DMF failing. If ignored, the DMF will destroy your transmission when it decides to give way costing you even more money.
