This documentary would take the viewers on a
thrilling journey about the Durbar festival,
which is recently associated with the Eids,
welcoming of visiting dignitaries and the
installation of new Emirs. While the cavalry
demonstrates military prowess, the Eids
provide opportunities for the staging of the
Durbar with the Emir’s participation reflecting
his political status as the leader of his people.
The demonstration of horsemanship during
the Durbar and the show of fealty marks the
high points of the festival.
