In 2010, at the 31st Mojave Road Rendezvous in Goffs, California, the Mojave Desert Heritage and Cultural Association (MDHCA) ran a public demonstration of the Stotts Two-Stamp Mill.
This 120-year-old mill was recovered from Round Valley in the East Mojave prior to the devastating 2005 Mojave National Preserve fire. The mill has been restored to working order through volunteer efforts led by Charlie Connell.
