For a Japanese salaryman pursuing an MBA, 6 PM is just the beginning of the "Second Job."
Tonight, I am fighting against deadlines. From 6 PM to 3 AM, my routine is simple but brutal: assignments, study, and a late-night run to the Konbini (convenience store) for fuel.
While my wife sleeps, I embrace this solitude.
It is quiet, it is tough, but this focus is necessary to build the future I want.
Of course, I am not entirely alone—my cat is always by my side, watching over my late-night grind.
This is the raw reality of balancing a full-time job, graduate school, and life in Tokyo.
