LAST CHRISTMAS - TRIBUTE TO GEORGE MICHAEL (live)

Описание: "Last Christmas" was composed in 1983 by George Michael while he was visiting his parents. It became a hit for his band "Wham". When he played it for those in attendance they were awestruck and called it "a moment of magical wonder".
The song was recorded in August 1984, at Advision Studios in London, England. George Michael performed and produced every instrument on the track. He used a Linn drum machine, a Roland Juno-60 synth and even some sleigh bells. Prior to it being recorded Michael plastered the studio with Christmas decorations. He wanted to set the mood since it was summer. The only people in the studio were Chris Porter (the engineer) and two assistants. Porter says…. lyrically "you've got the happiness of a great rhythm track set against the sadness of an unrequited love melody line". That's the formula for success.
