Socratica Friends, we struggle with PERFECTIONISM and we bet you do, too. We’re all about learning and growing here at Socratica, but this idea that you have to be PERFECT can really get in the way of enjoying the journey. Today, let’s talk about recognizing the signs of perfectionism, and some healthy alternatives.

It may surprise you that avoiding work is a common sign of perfectionism. You might be so (subconsciously) afraid of harsh judgment - even just from yourself - that you put off work until the last minute. Then you’re able to say, well, of course I didn’t do my best, I only did it at the last second and in a couple hours. We’ll talk about this and other less obvious signs that perfectionism is getting in your way.
