This trip we head to an old gold mining town called Nelson Creek but that night we were treated to an amazing display of fireworks.
Then heading further North we arrive at Pancake rocks where the kids cook up a feed of pancakes.
But Nicky was also given a very special gift here also.
Follow us on our journey around New Zealand in our DIY, off grid, off roading & 3 bedroom tiny house with our family of 4.
