The year is 2025, and MDickie STILL makes the best wrestling game, yes better than all of the 2K WWE games, and yes even better than that surprisingly fun TNA game. I took "Homer Simpson" on a journey through the Wrestling Territories/Promotions and formed a stupid team with John Cena: The NW-Ohno. It's a funny, stupid, silly and awful as it sounds. It's honestly Unreal that WWE can't make wrestling games as fun as this, even with viral stars like Rhea Ripley on their side, nothing will ever beat the dumb, funny, glitchy chaos that comes out of Wrestling Empire. Being able to create a wrestler as many times as you want, populating the Universe with as many obscure and nonsensical references as possible, provides an untold amount of joy when the News updates to see they've topped the charts of Netflix yet again. Game of the Year contender every year, can't recommend this enough.
